Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled electrician for 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 2:00 pm – 12:30 am) to install switchgear, rough and finish wiring, and maintain electrical control circuits for diverse equipment. You will read schematics, train apprentices, and uphold safety and quality standards at our Gilbert, AZ facility.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of college/vocational or technical training preferred.
• Appropriate credentials and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Install switchgear and wiring per standards.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical control circuits for motors and devices.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
• Coach apprentices and transfer knowledge.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
