Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in North Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Production Associate 2 for the 2nd shift (3:45 pm – 12:15 am). The role involves operating ARPAC/packing machines, moving window units, performing quality checks and palletizing, all while maintaining safety and 5S standards.

Ideal candidates will lift up to 50 lbs, be able to stand throughout the shift, and reliably follow instructions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Prior line experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Able to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Willing to cross-train and rotate across stations.
• Basic understanding of machinery and production processes.
• Ability to measure lengths to 1/4 inch.
• Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to inspect products for quality and damages.
• Ability to read and interpret productivity reports.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate ARPAC/packing machine.
• Move window units from conveyor into pallets or shipping carts.
• Perform quality checks and identify defects.
• Sort and palletize units by type and size; wrap as needed.
• Count accurately during palletizing; stack/store properly.
• Move pallets/carts in and out of production area with appropriate tools.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe environment.
• Perform 5S and housekeeping; downtime duties during line stoppages.
