Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Elizabethton, TN is seeking a Production Associate 1 for the 5:00PM–3:30AM shift. Base pay is $16.25 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential, with a full-time schedule from Monday to Thursday.

You will operate production equipment, assemble parts, read work orders, and help ensure quality and safety on the line. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, pass a background check and drug screening, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Proficient with basic hand tools and power equipment.
• Able to read and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills including fractions and decimals.
• Experience with tape measure reading and precise measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and perform assembly per procedures.
• Fabricate and produce component parts for final assembly.
• Handle materials including loading, unloading and storage.
• Use hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform quality checks and inspect products for defects.
• Read and interpret work orders, schedules and drawings.
• Make accurate measurements with precision tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals.
• Report equipment issues or quality concerns to supervisors.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
