Job summary

Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold Services) is seeking an immediate Production Associate in Jackson, TN. Pay is $16.50–$17.00 per hour. Shifts are 6:00AM–6:00PM or 6:00PM–6:00AM.

Responsibilities include counting, sorting, grading, placing rejected items, notifying supervisors of issues, rotating through line positions, maintaining safety and cleanliness,

Qualifications

• 6 months or more production or quality experience.
• Professionalism and a positive attitude are of utmost importance.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Positive attendance record.
• Ablity to work some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Verify the count, look at, and manage the product, as required by nature, to determine the grade and identify substandard products as they pass down the conveyor line.
• Place rejected products and individual grades of products in designated piles, containers, or areas. Add supplemental products to bring the original product to specifications.
• Notify the Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Rotate through various positions on the line.
• May be directed to assist in other plant areas as production demands require.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices.
• Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as provided.
• Perform other duties and assignments as required following SOP.
