Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring for a General Labor role in a Fresh Plant environment. This 2ND SHIFT position involves production tasks across processing, packaging and material handling, with emphasis on maintaining product flow and line support.

You must follow SOPs, safety policies, and wear required PPE while handling raw and packaged products. Candidates should have prior manufacturing or general labor experience; food manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing, production, or general labor experience preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing or fresh plant operations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned production tasks to support processing, packaging, and material handling operations
• Assist with product handling, sorting, stacking, and staging as required
• Maintain continuous product flow to prevent downtime or congestion
• Monitor product for quality defects and report concerns promptly
• Assist line operators with setup, changeovers, and general line support
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment
• Remove waste, scrap, and recyclable materials according to plant procedures
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and supervisor instructions
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and allergen control requirements
• Comply with OSHA regulations and Tyson safety policies
• Use required PPE and follow safe work practices
• Perform other duties as assigned
