Tyson Foods is seeking a General Production Worker in Portland, Indiana. The role involves processing, screening, and packaging product while adhering to GMP and safety standards. The starting pay is $19.20 per hour with shift increases for 2nd/3rd shifts.

Expect to perform production tasks, rotate positions across corn and flour departments, and participate in ongoing training. Responsibilities include inspecting lines for quality, stacking products, packing, and maintaining clean, safe work

Qualificações

• Must be able to read and follow GMP operation standards and manuals.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect product on lines to check for foreign material and conformance to specs.
• Stack product to maintain accurate case counts for each item.
• Assemble and tape boxes quickly to keep pace with lines.
• Pack product in boxes per customer specs, ensuring correct weight and count.
• Willing to train new hires and rotate positions across departments.
• Follow safety, GMP, and quality processes at all times.
• Communicate any product, equipment, quality, safety, or HR concerns to supervisor.
