Job summary

Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. is hiring for a SIA Direct Hire Production Associate – 2nd Shift in Lafayette, Indiana.

You will join a team responsible for assembling Subaru vehicles, performing manufacturing tasks, and identifying efficiency improvements. The role rotates through production stations, conducts quality inspections, and prepares finished products for shipment while maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of manufacturing assembly experience.
• Ability to work a 2nd shift (4:30 PM to 1:00 AM) and overtime, including Saturdays.
• Must be self-directed and able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing tasks and identify efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with a team to assemble Subaru vehicles.
• Rotate through stations for production processes.
• Conduct quality inspections on products and parts.
• Prepare finished products for shipment to other sections.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Participate in Safety, Environmental, and Continuous Improvement activities.
• Initiate Kaizen projects.
