Job summary

Aerotek in Ashland City, TN is hiring a General Production Worker to assemble components and operate production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will use hand and power tools, load/unload materials, and verify part dimensions with basic measuring tools while following safety and quality standards.

This is a 2nd shift contract role onsite. The role requires lifting 50–75 lbs and standing for extended periods, with weekly pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/production assembly.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Comfort with using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components following written work instructions.
• Load and unload tanks and parts from paint systems.
• Operate manual and automated hand tools safely to complete tasks.
• Set up and run production equipment per safety and quality guidelines.
• Handle material, perform basic machine operation and quality checks.
• Use measuring tools to verify part dimensions.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals.
• Adhere to attendance and performance expectations for bonuses.
