Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an assembler for a contract role in Ashland City, TN. You will assemble mechanical components, load tanks from paint systems, and use hand and power tools on a 2nd shift, with end times up to 1:30 AM, in a non-climate-controlled production area.

Responsibilities include reading instructions, measuring parts with a tape measure, setting up equipment, material handling, and collaborating with teammates to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Comfort using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure for measurements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and production components following instructions.
• Load/unload tanks and parts from paint systems with proper handling.
• Operate manual and automated hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Set up and operate production equipment following safety guidelines.
• Perform material handling and basic machine operation.
• Verify part dimensions with a tape measure for quality checks.
• Follow safety, quality standards, and work procedures.
