Job summary

Richmond Beverage Solutions is seeking a Processing Assistant to operate production equipment to meet quality standards and CIP systems. Responsibilities include making mix/batching for UHT and aseptic systems and maintaining accurate records.

The role requires physical work (lifting 50–100 lbs), ability to work in hot, humid conditions, and adherence to GMP and company policies. We offer union benefits and growth opportunities within a family-friendly dairy environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and work in a team.
• Ability to legibly write entries for records.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide).

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and maintain quality standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, valves, and homogenizer.
• Operate CIP separator and related equipment.
• Lift 50 to 100 lbs repeatedly.
• Work in hot, humid conditions.
• Complete and maintain related records as required.
• Adhere to good manufacturing practices.

DUTIES:

• MAKE MIX/BATCHING FOR UHT AND ASEPTIC SYSTEMS.
• PERFORM ASSIGNED PM’s, REBUILD VALVES,PUMPS AND HOMOGENIZER, ETC.
• OPERATE AND CIP SEPARATOR AND OTHER ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT
• LIFT 50 TO 100 LBS. ON A REPETITIVE BASIS.
• WORK IN HOT, HUMID CONDITIONS.
• COMPLETE AND MAINTAIN ALL ASSOCIATED RECORDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH COMPANY, STATE AND FEDERAL REQUIRMENTS.
• ADHERE TO ALL GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES.DUTIES AS ASSIGN

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Production or general work experienced preferred
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment
