Job summary

Richmond Beverage Solutions, a DFA affiliate, is seeking a Processing Assistant to operate and maintain UHT/aseptic production systems in a fast-paced environment. You will perform mix/batching, CIP cleaning, and equipment setup while following GMP practices and completing required records.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior production experience. The role requires lifting, working in hot/humid conditions, and teamwork to support a busy dairy processing facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Make mix/batching for UHT and aseptic systems.
• Set up, CIP and clean UHT and aseptic processing systems and all associated equipment.
• Set up, CIP and clean associated raw and pasteurized equipment (tanks, lines, batch systems, etc.).
• Perform assigned PMs, rebuild valves, pumps and homogenizer, etc.
• Operate and CIP separator and other associated equipment.
• Lift 50 to 100 lbs on a repetitive basis.
• Work in hot, humid conditions.
• Complete and maintain all associated records in accordance with company, state and federal requirements.
• Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices.
