Xylem is seeking a Hiring Process Operator for its Windsor, CT production facility. The role involves performing a series of manufacturing tasks, adhering to safety and quality guidelines, sorting bottles, and operating a forklift to move materials through the plant and loading/unloading trucks.

The job requires physical work, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the stamina to stand and bend during a fast-paced shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in Manufacturing.
• Completion of site-specific safety training.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Competency in following and reading instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Experience in manufacturing or plant operations.
• Forklift driving skills.
• Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all workplace safety procedures and product quality guidelines.
• Monitor equipment throughout the shift to ensure optimal functionality.
• Read and follow required processes accurately.
• Contribute to achieving divisional results and overall performance.
• Address internal and external customer needs and expectations.
• Operate area-specific equipment including CARBON: bag products, sampling, pH probes, and related tasks; REGEN: sort bottles by size and resin; forklift operation for material movement.
