American Custom Meats is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot plant equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This position helps minimize downtime and supports production operations while maintaining a safe facility.

The ideal candidate is hands-on with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, can prioritize tasks, and commits to safety, teamwork, and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Ability to work the assigned second-shift schedule.
• Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and production equipment issues.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and equipment inspections.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems, VFDs, motors, sensors, and related components.
• Install, assemble, maintain, and test production equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate service records.
• Assist with ordering, organizing, and tracking maintenance parts and materials.
• Support production startups, equipment changeovers, and emergency repairs.
• Follow applicable safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Cal/OSHA requirements, and company safety policies.
• Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend preventive solutions.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality Control, and other departments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
