Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Process Engineer to lead continuous improvement and optimize production systems while mentoring the team and driving lean manufacturing success.

You will develop CNC programs, design layouts and process flows, and collaborate with purchasing, quality, sales and operations to reduce costs and improve safety and quality. This second shift role expects High School education and 3 years of experience, and offers a competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3 years of CNC tooling and Fanuc programming experience.
• High School education required.
• Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks preferred.
• Experience in lean manufacturing and FMEA/SPC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process Development: Plans and oversees development of process flows, equipment requirements for quotes, and new product planning.
• Technical Operations: Develops programs for CNC machines (lathes, milling) and creates layouts and part priority sheets.
• Continuous Improvement: Implements lean manufacturing mindsets to minimize waste, manages corrective/preventive actions, and reduces product costs through innovation.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Acts as a 'subject matter' lead to foster a learning culture and works closely with purchasing, quality, sales, and operations departments.
• Compliance & Safety: Maintains a clean work area and adheres to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, including PPE.
