Job summary

Flex Tek is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to perform visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, and components. You will validate conformance to blueprints and customer instructions, select appropriate fittings, and operate pressure test tanks safely.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and adherence to testing PSI/time limits while maintaining timely, reliable performance. Flexible duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.
  • Ability to perform visual and dimensional checks.
  • Follows customer and company testing instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished products.
  • Inspect and test components to validate conformance to blueprints and customer and to company operating instructions.
  • Determine appropriate fittings (feeds and caps) to perform the test.
  • Lift, position, connect, disconnect, and remove work pieces from pressure test tank.
  • Perform testing within specified PSI and time limits as outlined by customers.
  • Observe test for bubble formation, seepage, or water droplets; use safety interlocks.
  • Stand, walk, and use hands as required; lift up to 25 pounds; maintain punctuality.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Performs visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished products.
  • Inspect and test components, parts, tube details, and assemblies to validate conformance to blue prints and instructions by customer and to company operating
  • Determines appropriate fittings (feeds and caps) to perform the test
  • Lifts, positions, connects, disconnects, and removes work pieces from pressure test tank
  • Performs testing based on specific PSI and time limits as outlined by our customers to ensure quality standards
  • Utilize tank interlocks and all safety mechanisms
  • Observe test, inspect for bubble formation, seepage, or water droplets
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed

Qualifications:
Qualifications

Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
