Job summary

Toledo Tool & Die in Maumee, OH is hiring a Press Operator for 2nd shift (2:00 pm–10:00 pm). The role focuses on operating press equipment, processing metal materials, and maintaining safety and quality.

Eligible to work in the U.S., you must be at least 18, pass background and drug screening, and be able to work overtime including weekends and holidays. Starting pay is $17.00/hour with a $1.50 shift premium, plus weekly pay and full benefits.

Responsibilities

• Start machines and monitor operation; record production data.
• Operate or tend machines to cut, saw, press metal pieces.
• Load work pieces into machines and ensure proper material flow.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and document tolerances.
• Read production schedules and verify material specifications.
• Record dimensions with calipers, micrometers and dial indicators.
• Assist with coil and die changes; maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Stop production if unsafe conditions arise; follow supervisor instructions.
