Job summary

SATO America, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented 2nd Shift Press Operator in Charlotte, NC. This full-time position involves setting up and troubleshooting flexographic presses to produce high-quality products while meeting KPI targets.

You will operate multiple press lines, perform basic maintenance, and document work accurately. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and process improvements within a supportive manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to perform basic math and read, write, speak and understand English to communicate with co-workers and follow instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and color vision testing are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set-up, and troubleshoot flexographic printing presses and auxiliary equipment per production standards.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and complete required paperwork timely.
• Cross-train and work on multiple press lines as needed.
• Meet quality goals for scrap and yield and collaborate with other departments.
• Adhere to health, safety, and maintenance procedures.
