SATO America, LLC is hiring a detail-oriented 2nd Shift Press Operator in Charlotte, NC. This full-time, permanent role requires operating and setting up flexographic presses, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring production aligns with safety, quality, and KPI goals.

Minimum education is an AA degree or equivalent, with 1–3 years of related experience preferred. Must read, write, and speak English; strong mechanical aptitude and color discrimination are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 1–3 years related experience; or equivalent combination.
• Basic math and ruler use required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English clearly.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and color-differentiation ability.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and troubleshoot flexographic printing presses and auxiliary equipment.
• Maintain machines, perform basic maintenance, and report issues.
• Keep work area clean using 5S methods and complete paperwork timely.
• Cross-train and work multiple press lines as needed.
• Follow quality inspection plans and meet scrap/yield targets.
• Collaborate with plant leadership and other departments to optimize production.
