Job summary

We are seeking a Press Operator for a 2nd shift in North Kansas City, MO. Prior metal press machine operation experience is required. The position offers room to grow and a full benefits package after becoming a permanent employee.

Wage is $20.00/hour with overtime possible; shift hours are 3:15pm-11:45pm, Monday–Friday (training 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday–Friday). Responsibilities include reading work instructions, preparing the workstation, performing die changes, operating the press to punch and

Qualifications

• Experience operating a metal press machine on a production line.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, measurements, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand work instructions, prepare workstation and equipment.
• Perform die changeovers and select correct materials.
• Fix setup or tool problems preventing production of good parts.
• Operate press to punch and form parts per specifications.
• Adjust and tighten hold down bolts, dies, springs and pins; lubricate as required.
• Complete all required paperwork and maintain housekeeping.
