Job summary

Lozier Corporation is seeking a skilled operator for the 2nd shift (3:30pm–2:00am) in Middlebury, IN. You will set up punches, brake presses, and related presses to meet production specifications, with basic laser/CNC programming and blueprint reading required.

A forklift license is preferred, with emphasis on safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include communicating equipment issues to supervisors and technicians, supporting continuous improvement, and

Qualifications

Experience setting up punch, brake, or automatic presses to maximize productivity.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tolerances.
Familiarity with measuring tools (tape measure, caliper, protractor, micrometer).
Die setup experience in brake press, stamping, or molding processes preferred.

Responsibilities

Set-up Punch Presses, Brake Presses, and/or Automatic Presses to print specifications.
Basic programming for laser or CNC equipment.
Communicate problems pertaining to setup of equipment to operators, supervisors, and technicians.
Follow-up with operators to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Maintain a safe, clean work environment and participate in continuous improvement projects.
