QuikCut LLC on second shift is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to set up and operate brake press equipment, bending and forming metal parts to exact specifications. You will read blueprints, select tooling, and ensure quality through inspection and documentation.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a growing manufacturing environment with competitive benefits and a Monday-Thursday schedule.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience operating a press brake, CNC brake press, or similar metal fabrication equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal parts according to work orders, blueprints, and customer specifications.
• Select the proper tooling and perform machine setup and calibration for each production run.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate part production.
• Inspect completed parts to verify dimensions, quality, and compliance with specifications.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and daily equipment inspections.
