Qualifications

• At least 6 months of related experience and/or training required.
• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

Job Summary

Responsible for the operation and daily maintenance of the Cincinnati press brake machine.

Job Responsibilities

1. Performs daily inspection and pre-startup PM.
2. Ability to read drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
3. Starts and operates hydraulic and mechanical presses.
4. Load and unload machine in an efficient, productive manner.
5. Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up.
6. Individual is consistently at work on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
7. Individual observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
8. Responsible for keeping all tools, dies, machine controls in good, working condition – must report immediately to press supervisor if there are any problems with these items.
9. Ensure paperwork is filled out completely and accurately.
10. Clean-up of working area and entire surroundings.
11. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Job Requirements

1. At least 6 months of related experience and/or training.
2. High school diploma or GED required.
3. Ability to interpret drawings and schematics.
4. Ability to read a tape measure and caliper.
5. Ability to work overtime and weekends as requested.
6. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
7. While performing the duties of the position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand or walk.
8. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
9. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs with assistance.
10. Work performed in a plant environment.

Compensation

The hourly pay rate is $20-$26/hr.
