Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. in Farmington, MN is seeking a Polisher for the 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 2:45 pm–12:45 am). You will prepare finished aluminum shafts for shipment following work instructions and contribute to quality and on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes inspecting materials, removing dents, grinding and routing as needed, while using PPE and maintaining safety in a non-temperature controlled environment. Prior manufacturing experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read prints and work with measurements.
• Accurate arithmetic and close-tolerance measurement.
• Safety-focused and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials to ensure quality and correct quantities.
• Inspect aluminum shafts and evaluate condition.
• Remove dents, grind and router as needed.
• Prepare finished shafts for shipment per work instructions.
• Wear PPE and work in a non-temperature controlled environment.
• Other duties as required.
