Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Machine Operator for the Mundelein, IL facility. You will operate assigned mechanical equipment, verify product quality with precision tools, and adjust equipment to support safe, efficient production.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience. You will read blueprints and work instructions, perform first-piece inspections, and document results while following all safety and quality policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience.
• Ability to operate machinery safely and effectively.
• Ability to use precision measurement instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints when applicable.
• Basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned mechanical equipment efficiently and safely.
• Inspect produced items to verify they meet quality requirements and product specifications.
• Use basic precision measuring instruments to confirm product dimensions and specifications.
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and make necessary adjustments.
• Read and interpret blueprints when applicable, along with work instructions and procedures.
• Complete first-piece inspections as needed and maintain accurate documentation.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
