Job summary

Inovar Packaging Group in Westfield, MA is hiring a Quality Rewind Operator on 2nd shift (Mon-Thurs, 3:00pm–1:30am). The role involves inspecting, rewinding, and preparing finished label products for shipment while meeting quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, manufacturing/printing experience and strong attention to detail; ability to read specifications, perform basic math, and work independently in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate rewind and inspection equipment to inspect finished labels prior to shipment.
• Perform 100% visual inspection of printed labels for quality and accuracy.
• Verify customer specifications including color consistency, registration, print quality, variable data, barcode readability, die-cut accuracy, label count, core size, roll direction, and splice requirements.
• Remove defective material and ensure only conforming product is shipped.
• Accurately complete quality documentation and production records.
• Label, package, and prepare finished rolls for shipment according to customer specifications.
• Communicate quality concerns to Production, Quality Assurance, and Supervisors.
• Maintain work area cleanliness and organization.
• Follow all safety, GMP, and company quality procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality and reduce waste.
