Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker seeks an Experienced Cold Forming Header Operator for 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm). The role offers $37.07/hour plus a $1.25 shift differential, totaling $38.32/hour, with comprehensive benefits.

You will set up and operate headers, inspect parts for defects, manage material flow and ensure production quality. Candidates should be able to handle lifting up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer experience with Cold Heading machines.
• Familiar with tooling and able to suggest tooling for new types of work.
• Participate in progression layout development, tool life improvements and quality advancements.
• Perform Hi Volume Team Member duties.
• Responsible for box/container making, washing, packaging, labeling, sealing, wrapping, and inventory documentation.
• Ability to stand and walk for majority of an 8–10 hour day.
• Bend, lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate solid and open die headers and related equipment.
• Set up and operate thread rollers and other heading equipment.
• Inspect for defects affecting fatigue and quality.
• Control material flow and ensure proper flowlines.
• Perform dimensional inspections and tracing as required.
• Interpret surface and material flow non-conformities.
• Master Cold Forming Trimming Operations.
• Maintain production integrity and controls.
