Collins Aerospace is seeking an onsite CNC Machinist to produce precision parts at our US facility. You will set up and run CNC machines, perform in-process inspections, and support quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires blueprint literacy, basic computing, and the ability to work with measurement tools; related certifications may be required. Training and safety program adherence are emphasized.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical school background preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and routings.
• Proficient with hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and transactions.
• Obtain required certifications to perform job duties.

Aufgaben

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce module parts.
• Obtain stock, fixtures, tooling, and gaging as needed.
• Perform in-process inspection as a certified operator.
• Operate CNC machines such as lathes, grinders, drills, presses, and saws.
• Perform CMM measurements and routine quality checks.
• Support functions like deburr, tumble, and part mark as needed.
• Move parts within the module and maintain clean work areas.
• Provide guidance to Machining Support Tech as required.
