Job summary

Bürkert Group in Huntersville, NC is seeking an Assembly Technician for the 2nd shift to read production documents, assemble parts, and use SAP when needed. You’ll monitor quality, perform basic machine setup, and help maintain line efficiency.

Qualifications

Two years of manufacturing experience preferred.
SAP knowledge is helpful, but not required.
Strong customer focus and attention to detail.
Excellent oral, written and communication skills.
Able to work closely within a team and contribute individually.
English – ability to converse and understand written and spoken instructions.

Responsibilities

Read production documents to produce the relevant product/part.
Use the EDP tools provided to ensure supplies of parts and to record quality and fault notifications.
Check product/part against quality specifications to ensure quality.
Perform maintenance per machine manual to increase plant availability.
Produce quality parts to meet sales targets.
Adhere to deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction and service levels.
Continuously optimize processes to boost efficiency (CIP).
Perform simple setup tasks to reduce downtimes.
