Job summary

Challenger Lifts, Inc., a division of Snap-on Tools, seeks a powder coat painter to apply powder coat using an electrostatic spray gun and prepare booths and equipment. The role includes removing media after shot blasting and hanging parts on the paint line.

Wages start at $20.19/hr with an attendance incentive and a $2 shift differential. Work hours are 4:00pm to 2:30am, Monday through Thursday and every other Friday.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and neatness.
• Ability to work under pressure calmly.
• Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.
• Able to stand for long periods and work extended hours.
• Able to lift up to 45 pounds periodically.
• Team player and able to work as part of a painting line.
• Must wear PPE and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Apply powder coat paint to product with electrostatic spray gun.
• Clean, maintain and prepare booth and powder coating equipment, clean room, floor, equipment.
• Remove media from components after shot blast process.
• Hang and remove parts and components on paint line.
• Perform required assemblies on 2-post product before unload and removal out of area.
• Other duties as requested by the Production Supervisor.
