Job summary

Dakota Bodies in Liberty, MO is seeking a Powder Coat Line Painter to prepare product and equipment, apply powder coat, and ensure quality per customer and company specs. The role covers all aspects of the powder coat line with training opportunities and teamwork.

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with DOE, plus a second shift differential of $2.00/hour for qualifying shifts. Candidates should have industrial painting experience and be able to work in respirators and follow safety procedures.

• Able to perform duties listed and train on powder coat line.

Responsibilities

• The ability to work as a team, follow orders and complete tasks as assigned by paint lead
• Knowledgeable in operation of all equipment required for surface preparation, primer and topcoat application.
• Cleaning and maintaining of all equipment and booths
• Ability to operate machinery and equipment to prime truck bodies
• Make paint rework repairs as needed
• Employee must be able to work in a respirator
• Perform other duties as assigned
