Job summary

Tyson Foods in Waverly, Nebraska, is hiring for General Labor on the 2nd shift. This role supports the poultry processing operations with a variety of production tasks and may rotate across areas to meet operational needs. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment is required.

Hours are 3:30 pm – 12:00 am, with occasional weekends and overtime. Pay ranges from $15.10–$20.10 per hour, plus up to $3.00 hourly bonus and a $2 shift differential for 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow food safety policies.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions in a cold environment.
• Willingness to rotate across departments and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Tray packing and packaging of poultry products.
• Packaging duties including sealing, labeling, and boxing.
• Handle and process inedible materials per food safety standards.
• Debone support tasks using knives and cutting tools.
• Assist in regrouping to ensure smooth product flow.
• Wash and sanitize production areas and equipment as required.
• Perform wing cutting, sorting, and general production tasks.
• Assist distribution with palletizing and loading orders.
