Job summary

Taylor Corporation in North Mankato, MN is seeking an Equipment Operator for the Pouching department on 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 4pm–2am). You will prepare and operate printing press equipment, monitor quality, and ensure safety and efficiency.

You’ll perform routine maintenance, prepare inks, check materials, and collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines. The role offers competitive hourly pay with DailyPay options.

Qualifications

• Ability to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerances.
• High level of mathematical skill and attention to detail.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Good reading ability for job specs and forms.
• Effective communication with team members.
• Regularly lift, push or carry up to 25+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate printing press equipment according to job specs and quality standards.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly maintenance for optimum output and reliability.
• Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
• Check paper type, size, color and quantity; verify plates.
• Coordinate with Production Team to prioritize jobs and meet deadlines.
• Adhere to safety requirements for equipment and processes.
