Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking a 2nd Shift Press / Print Operating Technician for our North Mankato, MN facility. You will carry out job orders, set up presses, monitor quality, maintain logs, and support the production schedule on a 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 4:00pm–12:30am). DailyPay and a new hire incentive are offered.

We value mechanical aptitude, precise work, and clear communication. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and technical skills/aptitude.
• Basic math to read ruler and calculate label dimensions.
• Ability to operate equipment to meet production standards.
• Ability to understand verbal and written work orders.
• Ability to communicate professionally.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed job orders accurately.
• Identify and fix errors promptly.
• Set up/adjust press for job runs.
• Monitor product quality and correct deviations.
• Monitor equipment and refer to maintenance when needed.
• Start up and run jobs per production schedule.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Meet output, waste and spoilage standards.
• Keep workspace clean and organized for shift changeovers.
• Complete related logs and paperwork.
