Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking an Equipment Operator at the North Mankato, MN facility for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 1:00pm - 9:00pm). Responsibilities include preparing and operating printing press equipment, maintaining quality, and coordinating with the Production Team to meet deadlines.

Ideal candidates will have strong mathematical skills, mechanical ability, and good reading and communication skills, with a focus on safety and accuracy in a fast-paced printing environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate printing press equipment, in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures
• Performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output
• Check paper/cards for type, size, color and quantity
• Visually inspect forms throughout run for quality
• Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates
• Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment
