Job summary

Metalcraft Of Mayville seeks a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift (1:30pm–10:30pm). You will lead a manufacturing team, ensure safety, plan and coordinate production, and drive continuous improvement to deliver high-quality products.

Responsibilities include supervising mold changes, coordinating with the Plant Manager, and mentoring team members while upholding 6S and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication required.
• Leadership experience in manufacturing preferred, plastics shop if possible.
• Experience in lean manufacturing environment preferred.
• Exposure to Rotational Molding is exceptional.

Responsibilities

• Maintains understanding of machine function and can troubleshoot problems.
• Keeps work area and equipment clean, safe, and in compliance with safety regulations.
• Directs and coordinates team activities with Plant Manager and other Supervisors to meet production goals and quality.
• Assembles and dismantles molds as needed.
• Performs mold changes using overhead cranes and rigging.
• Uses feedback from inspectors to drive process improvements and reduce scrap.
• Maintains safe and clean operations by following 6S and safety procedures.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
• Mentors and develops direct reports and provides hands-on leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.
