Job summary

Channell in North Las Vegas, NV, seeks a Production Supervisor for the Plastics Department to manage daily schedules and coordinate shift activities. You will ensure equipment runs to standard, train staff, and monitor safety and quality while driving on-time delivery of finished products.

Preferred candidates have 2-5 years in injection molding, strong leadership, troubleshooting ability, and good computer skills to handle materials, BOMs, and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• 2-5 years' experience in injection molding with good plastic processing knowledge.
• Previous supervision experience with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting, evaluating and correcting process conditions.
• Start-up and shut down of all machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Good mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills.
• Good computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs the shift to ensure on-time production and delivery of the finished goods production plan.
• Supervises and coordinates daily activities of personnel manufacturing parts and components to specifications and standards.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings, verify attendance and PPE, provide training.
• Review production schedule and determine tooling, materials and operations sequencing.
• Ensure compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards, safety rules, and policy adherence.
• Review and approve employee timecards and manage payroll-related changes.
• Foster a performance-driven culture through adherence to systems and processes.
