Job summary

Ferguson seeks a Picking Manager for the 2nd shift to lead a warehouse picking team, supervise outbound orders, ensure accurate paperwork, and maintain orderly space. The role focuses on safe, efficient operations in a busy distribution center.

Responsibilities include developing staff, coordinating with shipping, and upholding inventory integrity while adhering to OSHA guidelines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Warehouse operations and logistics including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory.
• Prior management, supervisory or people leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced distribution center, ensuring safety, efficiency and accuracy.
• Solid understanding of OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop a productive Picking team by hiring, training, and developing associates.
• Supervise picking and shipping of outbound orders with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure warehouse space is used effectively and kept clean and orderly.
• Collaborate with shipping to maintain inventory integrity and paper accuracy.
• Maintain warehouse security and safety, report accidents and issues to management.
