Job summary

Qualifications
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification within 1 year from date of hire.
- Licensed as a registered pharmacy technician or pharmacy technician trainee by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy at the time of hire
- Licensed as a certified pharmacy technician by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy once National Pharmacy Certification is obtained.
- Employee may not start working independently until issuance of license.
Responsibilities
- Performs tasks related to filling medication orders and maintaining records.
- Prepares intravenous solutions using aseptic techniques and supplies controlled substances.
- Maintains inventory and dispenses medications to patient care areas; charges for items supplied.
