Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Performance Leader on the 2nd shift to manage a skilled team in the Machine Shop, Assembly & Test departments, report to the Production Manager, and drive on-time delivery and quality.

You will lead lean initiatives, balance productivity and costs, develop staff, and ensure safe, efficient operations. The role emphasizes leadership, accountability, and collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience with five years of production leadership.
• Working knowledge of functional manufacturing activities and supporting departments.
• Demonstrated leadership capability, sound judgment, strong organization skills and excellent communication.
• Ability to define and prioritize operational goals.
• Proven ability to build strong teamwork within the department and across supporting functions.
• This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of A&T technicians and/or machinists to deliver quality products on time.
• Oversee Machine Shop and Assembly & Test Departments and identify improvement opportunities.
• Set department objectives and coordinate lean activities to improve profitability and productivity.
• Motivate and develop staff; ensure safe, efficient operations and good attendance records.
• Maintain production records, manage time reports, and ensure fair application of policies.
