Job summary

PDM is seeking a Production Associate for the 2nd shift in Boone, IA. You will support daily production operations, handling processing, packaging, and inspections while upholding GMP and food safety standards. A focus on clean, safe work practices and accurate documentation is essential.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, monitoring quality, conducting checks, and maintaining logs. Training on HACCP and safety will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor production for quality and report deviations.
• Perform quality checks on raw and finished products.
• Follow GMPs, food safety guidelines, sanitation procedures, and SOPs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area.
• Assist in setup, changeover, and cleanup between runs.
• Accurately complete production logs, batch records, and documentation for traceability.
• Report any food safety or quality concerns to the Production Manager or Quality Assurance.
• Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to meet production goals and resolve issues.
• Participate in ongoing training related to Food Safety, Allergen Control, HACCP, and Workplace Safety.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers
