Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• On-the-job training provided; other combinations of experience and education may meet requirements.

Responsibilities

• Strong mechanical aptitude and safe use of hand tools, power tools, torches and other tools.
• Disassemble and assemble paper machine rolls.
• Dismount, care and mounting of bearings.
• Read and understand standard mechanical prints, symbols, units of measure and abbreviations.
• Perform maintenance, housekeeping, painting and miscellaneous tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Be willing and able to perform all tasks with or without supervision.
