Grand Valley Manufacturing Co. is seeking a 2nd Shift Quality Control Inspector in Titusville, PA for a part-time role. The position focuses on executing inspection procedures and ensuring machined parts meet specifications.

The candidate will read blueprints, use calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools, and document results while participating in non-conformance investigations. GD&T knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required; vocational or technical schooling preferred.
• Minimum of 2–5 years in a manufacturing setting, preferably in an inspection role or related field.

2nd Shift - Part Time QC Inspector

Grand Valley Manufacturing is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Quality Control Inspector to join our team. This position is responsible for executing quality inspection operations, as described in the manufacturing router.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, plans, and routers to fully understand the desired customer requirements and specifications.
• Follow inspection procedures, methods, and certification processes.
• Perform a wide variety of gauging set-ups and devise methods of checking unusual parts.
• Perform quality inspections on a wide variety of machined metal parts of complicated form with exceptionally close tolerances, ensuring the final product meets the provided specifications.
• Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records. Report any anomalies/non-conformances.
• Participate in non-conformance investigations and the resolution of quality-related issues.
• Able to use common inspection tools (calipers, tape measure, micrometers, etc.).
• Possesses knowledge of GD&T

Physical Demands & Working Environment

Works in a manufacturing environment and is exposed to moving mechanical parts. Occasionally exposed to fumes and/or airborne particles. Required to wear eye, foot, and/or other personal protective equipment while performing duties. May on a frequent basis squat, climb, push/pull objects, lift up to 25 lbs., and use hands/fingers for grasping and reaching. May on an occasional basis bend at the waist; reach above the shoulder; turn or twist body; lift up to 50 lbs.; carry up to 35 lbs.; and use hands/fingers for fine manipulation. The noise level in the work environment is usually medium to loud.
