About the Opportunity

Pleasant Point Senior Living is seeking a Part‑time 2nd shift Medication Aide to join a team of dedicated professionals who want to make a difference in the lives of residents, their families and our community. Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents in accordance with state regulatory stipulations and facility requirements.
• Observe residents taking medication, note effects including any unexpected or adverse reactions, and accurately document the required information in the medication administration records.
• Communicate any concerns or observations to the Wellness Director, Wellness Coordinator, or designated personnel.
• Support residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health.
• Encourage resident independence, support resident choice, and preserve resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.

Critical Success Factors

• Successful completion of medication assistance training in compliance with the state’s regulatory requirements and facility requirements.
• Maintains up‑to‑date medication certification requirements according to state regulations.
• Demonstrates compassion and empathy in personal interactions.
• Possesses effective oral and written communication skills.
• Self‑supervising and self‑motivated, willing to collaborate and work as a team member.
• Adaptable and flexible; highly organized with the ability to manage multiple demands/tasks concurrently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior direct‑care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Meets age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations.
