Graham Packaging Company is hiring a Production Specialist for the 2nd shift (2:00 pm–10:00 pm, Mon–Fri) in West Chicago, IL. The role involves packing, case making, inspection, and general factory tasks in line with established procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include maintaining product quality, following GMP and company policies, and communicating with supervisors on issues. Benefits include health plans, 401K, and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, health, quality GMP policies and company procedures.
• Visually inspect finished product and ensure cases are sealed properly.
• Pack bottles according to customer specifications.
• Clear jams on the trimmer and restart safely.
• Notify supervisor of potential product or machine issues.
• De-label and grind bottles, check for contamination.
• Stack and orient cases to meet load patterns and customer needs.
• Operate case-making equipment safely and maintain glue tanks.
• Perform fiber tear checks for proper glue application.
• Restock supplies and communicate issues to shift teammates.
• Assist in training permanent and temporary staff on packing processes.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area.
