McKee Foods is hiring a Production Associate on the 2nd shift at our Stuarts Draft, VA facility. This entry-level role supports a high-speed snack cake packaging line with on-the-job training and no prior experience required.

You will contribute to efficient packaging and quality inspections in a modern manufacturing environment. Position includes competitive pay of $22.62–$23.88 per hour, plus a $1.00/hour shift premium for 2nd shift and a $1,000 sign-on bonus paid over several quarters.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and safe work practices are required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic math for data entry and record-keeping.
• Capable of repetitive motions while standing or sitting for the shift.
• Willingness to learn new processes and equipment.
• Maintains clean work areas and follows food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor line equipment set ups and move product trays.
• Inspect product quality and remove defects to meet targets.
• Load/unload materials onto pallets and onto racks/shelves.
• Pack cartons into shipping cases and palletize as needed.
• Operate power hoists and electric pallet jacks to lift items.
