Job summary

Winland Foods, Inc. is hiring an Entry Packaging Team Member at our Columbia, SC facility. You will operate packaging equipment, monitor processes, and ensure products are labeled and packed to the highest quality standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of manufacturing experience, and the ability to work a 2-2-3 schedule with overtime. Forklift certification is preferred for advanced levels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience, preferably in manufacturing or food production.
• Forklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level); willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on production line equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic packaging machinery (depalletizers, palletizers, conveyors, forklifts).
• Complete equipment changeovers and address operational issues quickly.
• Inspect products for correct labeling, alignment, and packaging.
• Follow FIFO inventory methods, manage materials, and record shipments in SAP.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation; follow GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA policies.
