Hallmark Cards in Leavenworth, KS is seeking a Packaging Operator to set up, operate, and maintain packaging lines for gift presentation products. The role runs on 2nd shift (3:30pm - 12:00am), Monday through Friday, and relocation is not provided.

The position requires standing most of the shift, lifting up to 65 lbs, and working OT as needed. You will monitor equipment, perform basic maintenance, and ensure quality throughout the production process while collaborating with teammates to meet

Formación

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs occasionally and stand about 90% of the time.
• Basic math, written and oral communication skills; teamwork and safety awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, adjust, and operate production and packaging machines.
• Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Conduct quality inspections on in-process and finished goods; remove defective products.
• Complete production, defect, and shipping documentation in SAP.
• Collaborate with team members to solve problems and share process updates.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; follow all safety protocols.
• Support multiple assignments and departments as needed; demonstrate flexibility.
• Track and replenish packaging materials to minimize downtime.
• Participate in performance dialogues and team problem solving.
• Learn and apply a wide range of quality systems and product specifications.
