Job summary

Avantor is hiring an Operator for our NuSil site in Carpinteria, CA. This full-time role supports packaging and manufacturing in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. You will work closely with a diverse team to meet production schedules and maintain equipment.

The position requires 1-2 years in packaging or distribution, familiarity with cGMP/RCRA, and a willingness to work the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM). Experience in a chemical plant is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of packaging or distribution experience.
• Familiarity with cGMP and RCRA training.
• Experience in a chemical plant preferred.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment and work areas in a neat, clean, and safe state.
• Operate packaging lines safely and efficiently to meet production schedules.
• Collaborate with supervisors and maintenance to resolve setup and operation issues.
• Record production data accurately and comply with OSHA requirements.
