Job summary

Altium Packaging in Memphis is seeking an entry-level Production Packaging Associate to ensure proper packaging of materials and finished products. Responsibilities include loading and moving materials, operating packaging equipment, and following GMPs.

The role requires safe work practices, teamwork, and strict adherence to instructions. Responsibilities cover monitoring lines, bottle inspections, labeling accuracy, material replenishment, and orderly workstations.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Basic computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
• Demonstrates punctuality and adheres to work schedule.
• Demonstrates teamwork by working well with others.
• Keeps work area neat, clean, and organized.
• Monitors conveyor belts and clears bottle jams from lines.
• Picks up dropped bottles and places into designated bins.
• Inspects the quality of bottles during production, packaging, and labeling.
• Performs bottle inspections and drop tests for designated lines.
• Escalates bottle abnormalities and quality issues immediately.
• Monitors supply levels of packaging materials and replenishes as needed.
• Ensures correct labeling, bottle description and packaging per customer requirements.
• Moves finished goods to designated area.
• Maintains workstation setup and restocks supplies for smooth shift transitions.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
