Job summary

Altium Packaging in Corona, CA is seeking an entry-level Production Packaging Associate responsible for proper packaging of materials and finished products. You will load, move materials, and operate packaging equipment while following Good Manufacturing Practices.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, cleanliness, and efficiency on the production floor; monitoring lines, ensuring correct labeling and packaging per customer requirements, and escalating any quality issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Basic computer experience.
• Preferred High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
• Demonstrates punctuality and adheres to work schedule.
• Demonstrates a teamwork attitude by working well and effectively with others.
• Keeps the work area neat, clean, and organized.
• Monitor conveyor belts and clear bottle jams from lines.
• Inspects the quality of bottles during production, packaging and labeling.
• Performs bottle inspections, such as drop tests for designated lines.
• Immediately escalates all bottle abnormalities, defects and quality issues when found.
• Move finished goods to designated area.
• Maintain inventory levels and restock supplies as needed to facilitate smooth transitions between shifts.
